Being a master detective Tchoup is able to pick up items and keep them in his pockets. His friend Stucco has poor deductive reasoning skills, but he makes it up by superior strength and excellent lifting and climbing ability. The third goblin, Perluis, can wield magical powers and has a dark sense of humor.

Gobliiins 4 is a point-and-click puzzle adventure game. The player must find a solution to each level in order to progress to the next one. An original aspect of the series is that the player has to switch between different goblin characters to use their unique abilities to complete the level.
